Job Requirements
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
- flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights and weekends
- ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- ability to maintain physical stamina and mental attitude to work under pressure
- must be able to stand, sit, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, lift up to 25 pounds
- willingness to work in a smoke-filled and loud environment
- excellent time management, problem solving and organizational skills
- ability to follow written and oral instructions
Job Qualifications
- Previous cashiering experience preferred
- ability to deal with customers and co-workers in a tactful and respectful manner
- ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- excellent communication skills in written and oral form
- ability to present information and respond to questions effectively
- any combination of education, training, or experience providing required knowledge and skills
- flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekends
- must be a minimum of 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Receive payment from guests in the form of cash, credit cards, room charges and comp slips
- make change as needed
- verify validity of charges
- record charges
- insure vouchers are properly executed to balance monetary transactions
- make deposits and cash drops
- complete appropriate cashier paperwork and reports
- balance and secure cash bank
- interact with co-workers and customers in a professional and polite manner
- perform other duties as assigned
