The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) role at Right at Home is a vital position responsible for delivering direct patient care and support to clients in their homes. This role involves assisting with activities of daily living, such as personal hygiene, ambulation, eating, dressing, and grooming, alongside light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment. CNAs also aid in reinforcing non-sterile dressings, assisting with mobility aids like canes or walkers, and helping clients perform prescribed range of motion exercises. The position requires taking vital signs and providing medication reminders, as well as offering transportation support for appointments and errands like grocery shopping. Beyond physical care, CNAs provide companionship by engaging clients in activities such as games or gardening, helping to enrich their social and emotional well-being.

Training and comprehensive support equip CNAs to handle the demands of the job effectively, ensuring personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided to maintain a safe working environment. The ideal candidate embodies honesty, energy, approachability, and excellent communication skills, thriving in a customer-focused setting where integrity and accountability are paramount. CNAs at Right at Home are encouraged to be proactive, resilient under pressure, and adaptable to meet unique client needs. This role not only offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of vulnerable populations but also ensures employee well-being through paid travel time, mileage reimbursement, same-day or weekly pay options, and the convenience of mobile clock-in/out technology. Overall, this position offers a rewarding career path with ongoing skill development in a supportive community-oriented setting.
