Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited medical assistant program
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA)
- Phlebotomy experience
- Two years of related medical experience including EKG, injections, vitals, and triage
- Two years of knowledge in examination, diagnostic, and treatment room procedures
- Two years of knowledge in medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care
- Two years of OSHA and HIPAA compliance

Job Duties
- Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures, ensuring a comfortable and efficient environment
- Perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, administering medications, and preparing lab specimens for testing
- Manage patient records by accurately inputting information into electronic health records and maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Schedule patient appointments and coordinate follow-up care, ensuring optimal patient flow within the practice
- Educate patients on their treatment plans, medication instructions, and preventive care measures
