Job Requirements
- Minimum one year of professional experience as a caregiver
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive
- Access to a reliable vehicle for client transportation
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to lift significant weight and assist with client transfers
- Upbeat and positive attitude with energy and compassion
- Willingness to commute to client locations
- Bank account with direct deposit capabilities
- No serious criminal offenses as confirmed by background check
Job Qualifications
- Possess New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification
- Hold a valid driver’s license and have access to a reliable vehicle
- Minimum 1 year of professional caregiving experience
- Ability to lift significant weight and assist clients with transfers
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, upbeat and positive attitude
- Ability to follow detailed care plans and document care activities
- Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screening
Job Duties
- Provide companionship, conversation and social interaction
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry
- Prepare meals and assist with grocery shopping
- Supervise safety and assist with safe mobility to prevent falls
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting and incontinence care
- Provide client transportation for errands and appointments
- Remind clients about medication and assist with filling prescriptions
- Follow care plans and report daily and weekly notes and changes in health status to the Care Team
- Facilitate and manage medical appointments and related health activities
- Participate in monthly in-service trainings
