The available position is a supervisory role within the production department. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth operation and quality control of food products sold at Central Market. A Production Lead works with minimal supervision, managing varied and moderately complex duties. This person applies advanced skills in food production and oversees production flow, product quality, and operational standards in their area. They are responsible for coordinating product orders, organizing workspace, and supporting shrinkage control initiatives to minimize waste. The Production Lead also manages special production orders and supervises team scheduling, including shifts, lunches, and break times. Ordering raw ingredients, maintaining department sanitation, and ensuring equipment is functioning correctly are integral parts of this role. Additionally, this position includes training responsibilities, assisting in orienting new team members, and promoting food safety, sanitation standards, and operational excellence initiatives throughout the department.
