The Cement Technician/Laborer role at Amrize's Whitehall Cement Plant is essential to maintaining the continuous supply of kiln tires critical for the cement production process. This position involves working hands-on with the tire delivery systems, managing tasks such as loading tires from trucks onto hooks, maneuvering trailers, and ensuring empty trailers are properly removed from the dock and replaced with full ones. The role demands physical stamina, keen attention to safety protocols, and the ability to operate heavy equipment like yard tractors, forklifts, and bobcats.

Candidates stepping into the Cement Technician position will engage in various responsibilities ranging from performing safety checks and completing paperwork, to assisting with plant housekeeping and reporting unusual operational circumstances promptly to supervisors. The position requires adherence to rotating shifts across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts to ensure continuous operation and maintenance of the tire delivery system.
