Job Requirements
- Must be available evenings and weekends
- Read and understand the BU Student Employment Policy
- Understand Federal Work-Study program rules and regulations if applicable
- Ability to handle emergency procedures calmly
- Ability to instruct and communicate effectively
- Comfortable working in a dynamic event environment
- Previous experience in movie theater or related AV roles preferred
Job Qualifications
- Familiarity with media formats and differences between them
- Familiarity with audio/video equipment
- Comfortable working and speaking in front of crowds
- Preferably AET or MOT, MDS major
- Sophomore or above
- Work experience in a movie theater a plus
- Familiarity with live sound reinforcement a plus
Job Duties
- Going over event details with client and with Recording and Film Studio Manager
- Handling setup of any AV equipment / chairs / microphones
- Instructing volunteer ushers on their job duties
- Playing content from various media formats
- Handling theater evacuation in event of emergency
