Job Description
Club Demonstration Services (CDS) is a premier sales and marketing agency specializing in providing product demonstration and sampling services exclusively for Costco Wholesale locations. With over 25 years of experience, CDS has built a strong reputation for delivering exceptional high-quality marketing services that help consumers make informed purchasing decisions right at the store shelves. CDS employees epitomize professionalism, friendliness, and talent, which has allowed the company to become the trusted in-house product sampling partner for one of North America’s largest wholesale retailers. The company thrives by bridging the gap between manufacturers and retailers, helping to create memorable in-store shopping experiences for Costco members through engaging product demonstrations and effective sales strategies.
The Account Manager role at CDS is pivotal for supporting the success of special event marketing programs within Costco stores. This full-time position is primarily responsible for selling, developing, and managing special event programs designed to promote clients’ products inside Costco locations. The Account Manager collaborates closely with the Director of Sales and key Costco buying contacts, including Buyers, Assistant Buyers, and Inventory Control Specialists, to develop strategic demo programs that drive product sales. In addition to managing the day-to-day logistics and processes for multiple special events, this role proactively identifies additional business opportunities and ensures program objectives are met.
An ideal candidate for this role will have a proven track record of at least five years in sales, with experience in event logistics and business development within a fast-paced environment. The Account Manager must possess exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills to effectively handle multiple projects and present confidently to senior executives. The role requires a disciplined and confidential approach to managing sensitive information, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
The Account Manager will also work alongside vendor partners and internal operations teams to ensure all programs are executed flawlessly and according to company and client standards. This role plays a critical function in maintaining open communication channels, providing timely reporting, and fostering strong, long-term business relationships. CDS offers a supportive and dynamic work environment that promotes ongoing career development through paid training, certifications, and courses aimed at enhancing professional skills.
Candidates can expect to receive full benefits that include medical, dental, and vision coverage after 30 days of employment, short and long-term disability, 401(k) with company match, generous paid time off, and a culture that values excellence and collaboration. This position is an excellent opportunity for motivated sales professionals who are passionate about driving successful marketing campaigns and enjoy working in a team-oriented environment focused on both client and customer satisfaction. The job remains open until filled, inviting qualified applicants eager to contribute to CDS’s continued growth and industry leadership.
