The Shuttle Driver role at ABM is a pivotal position focused on safely transporting passengers to and from assigned locations. Shuttle Drivers are responsible for transporting, loading, and unloading passengers efficiently and courteously while adhering to strict safety protocols. They ensure the secure operation and handling of specialized equipment, such as wheelchair lifts and tie-downs, to assist passengers with special needs. Additionally, drivers assist passengers with luggage and perform routine vehicle inspections, cleaning, and maintenance to uphold vehicle safety and cleanliness standards.

Customer service is a key component of the role, with drivers expected to respond to guest inquiries professionally, provide directions, and maintain a positive experience for all patrons. Drivers are also responsible for enforcing evacuation plans, reporting incidents or claims promptly, refueling vehicles, and maintaining fuel use logs. The position demands adherence to Department of Transportation standards and internal safety policies through thorough pre-inspection and post-inspection activities.
