The Shuttle Driver role at ABM focuses on providing safe and efficient passenger transportation services to and from assigned locations such as airports, commercial buildings, hospitals, sports arenas, entertainment venues, educational facilities, or warehouses based on contractual needs. This position is ideal for individuals entering or re-entering the workforce with limited experience or education. The Shuttle Driver is responsible for transporting passengers while ensuring their safety and comfort by assisting with loading and unloading both passengers and luggage. The role includes operating and handling specialized equipment, particularly when accommodating passengers with disabilities, utilizing wheelchair lifts and tie-downs. Daily responsibilities also include maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the shuttle vehicle, performing inspections for any maintenance issues or unsafe conditions, and adhering to all Department of Transportation and safety regulations.

An essential part of this job is providing excellent customer service by courteously responding to guest inquiries, offering directions, and coordinating emergency evacuation procedures when needed. The Shuttle Driver must promptly report any incidents to the Operations Manager or Shift Lead and carefully maintain equipment logs such as fuel usage. Candidates must be at least 21 years old, have a valid CDL Class B license with passenger endorsement, and possess a minimum of one year of relevant driving experience. Although no high school diploma, GED, or college degree is required, previous experience as a passenger shuttle driver is preferred.
