Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 12 months of commercial driving experience
- Possession of a valid CDL-A license with doubles endorsement
- Age 21 years or older
- Compliance with all state licensing and certification requirements
- Clean motor vehicle report for the last 3 years
- Successful completion of post offer drug testing
- Successful completion of criminal background check
- Passing a road test
- Possession or ability to obtain a DOT Health Card
- Physical ability to lift and move loads weighing up to approximately 90 pounds using appropriate equipment
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
- 12 months commercial driving experience
- Valid CDL-A with doubles endorsement
- Must be 21 or older
- Meet all state licensing and certification requirements
- Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
- Pass post offer drug test
- Pass criminal background check
- Pass road test
- Attain or have current DOT Health Card or able to secure new DOT Health Card
- Ability to hand-lift and utilize equipment for moving product cases up to 90 pounds
Job Duties
- Perform safety checks including pre/post trip inspections of tractor, truck, and trailer according to DOT regulations
- Report all safety issues and repairs required
- Follow DOT regulations and company safe driving policies
- Inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight
- Ensure all route paperwork accompanies the load
- Drive and deliver trailers according to schedule
- Perform hook/unhook procedures safely
- Park and store tractor trailers in designated areas
- Secure equipment and freight appropriately
- Collect and secure damaged goods and customer returns
- Unload equipment, materials, and remove trash from trailers
- Complete daily hours of service records and logs in compliance with regulations
- Perform housekeeping duties in tractor, dock area, and keep trailers clean
- Perform other related duties as assigned
