Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 12 months of commercial driving experience
  • Possession of a valid CDL-A license with doubles endorsement
  • Age 21 years or older
  • Compliance with all state licensing and certification requirements
  • Clean motor vehicle report for the last 3 years
  • Successful completion of post offer drug testing
  • Successful completion of criminal background check
  • Passing a road test
  • Possession or ability to obtain a DOT Health Card
  • Physical ability to lift and move loads weighing up to approximately 90 pounds using appropriate equipment

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
  • 12 months commercial driving experience
  • Valid CDL-A with doubles endorsement
  • Must be 21 or older
  • Meet all state licensing and certification requirements
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
  • Pass post offer drug test
  • Pass criminal background check
  • Pass road test
  • Attain or have current DOT Health Card or able to secure new DOT Health Card
  • Ability to hand-lift and utilize equipment for moving product cases up to 90 pounds

Job Duties

  • Perform safety checks including pre/post trip inspections of tractor, truck, and trailer according to DOT regulations
  • Report all safety issues and repairs required
  • Follow DOT regulations and company safe driving policies
  • Inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight
  • Ensure all route paperwork accompanies the load
  • Drive and deliver trailers according to schedule
  • Perform hook/unhook procedures safely
  • Park and store tractor trailers in designated areas
  • Secure equipment and freight appropriately
  • Collect and secure damaged goods and customer returns
  • Unload equipment, materials, and remove trash from trailers
  • Complete daily hours of service records and logs in compliance with regulations
  • Perform housekeeping duties in tractor, dock area, and keep trailers clean
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
