Operating across various locations, they maintain a fleet of state-of-the-art trucks and employ dedicated professionals who ensure residential waste is collected efficiently and responsibly. Their commitment to safety, customer service, and compliance with government regulations distinguishes them in the waste management industry.
The position offered is a Residential Collection Driver role, a key operational role involving the collection of residential waste using company vehicles, primarily residential system trucks. This role requires the driver to operate the truck safely and efficiently while adhering to all applicable transportation and waste handling regulations. Drivers are responsible not only for driving but also for assisting in container emptying, performing safety checks on vehicles before and after routes, and documenting route details using fleet routing software and company-provided tools. They must deliver the collected waste to approved landfills, transfer stations, or recycling centers, ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards throughout the process. The position demands strong attention to detail, ability to manage schedules effectively, and excellent customer service skills, as drivers interact with the public regularly.
The role offers competitive compensation with an attractive hiring bonus structure offering up to $8,000 total depending on experience and waste-specific expertise. There is an additional monthly bonus of $500, rewarding consistent performance. Employment is full-time and requires the candidate to be available for scheduled shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, which is vital to meet community service demands continuously. Ideal candidates will have previous experience in medium or heavy truck driving, a valid Texas Class B Commercial Driver's License, a clean driving record, and a current Medical Card.
This role is critical for ensuring the community's health and environmental safety by managing residential waste collection effectively. It offers an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to environmental sustainability and public health while developing a career in the transportation and waste management industries. Training and ongoing support are provided to help drivers succeed and advance their skills, particularly in using onboard technology to optimize route efficiency and service quality. The company actively promotes safety, professionalism, and teamwork, cultivating a supportive workplace culture where employees can thrive. Overall, this Residential Collection Driver position is ideal for individuals seeking a stable, rewarding role with competitive pay, benefits, and performance incentives within a reputable and established company dedicated to community service and environmental responsibility.
