FreshPoint is currently hiring local CDL Delivery Drivers in Avon, MA, offering routes that allow drivers to be home daily and earning potential up to $92,000 annually, depending on performance and experience. Employment is full-time with early morning shifts starting between 12:00 AM and 3:00 AM, and routes typically last about 10 hours per day, enabling drivers to return home in time for dinner. This position is ideal for CDL-A and CDL-B licensed drivers who want to work close to home and enjoy competitive pay with growth potential. As a local delivery driver, you will be responsible for managing daily routes with multiple stops, loading and unloading products using hand trucks, and ensuring excellent customer service. In this role, the driver will work from a designated location closer to the customer marketplace, engaging in a cross-dock model where you will pick up trailers at the loading dock, complete deliveries, and return the empty truck to the lot. Duties also include occasional assistance with loading trucks and palletizing products. FreshPoint places a strong emphasis on safety and compliance, requiring drivers to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and adhere to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. The company also encourages ongoing job skills and leadership development training, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and career advancement from within. FreshPoint not only offers financial incentives and bonuses but also comprehensive health benefits, retirement plans, paid time off, and employee recognition programs.
