Job Requirements
- Valid CDL-B license (CDL-A preferred)
- minimum 1 year of route delivery experience
- ability to operate hand trucks and load/unload products up to 100 pounds
- ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip DOT inspections
- reliable transportation to designated starting location
- capability to work early morning hours
- ability to communicate effectively with customers and management
Job Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- minimum 1 year of route delivery experience
- experience driving straight trucks
- valid CDL-B license (CDL-A preferred)
- ability to read and understand English
- customer service skills
- ability to work early morning shifts
Job Duties
- Run daily routes with frequent stops
- load packages onto hand trucks and unload products at each stop
- pick up loads at assigned cross-dock and return empty truck
- operate efficiently to meet or exceed route times
- verify deliveries and obtain customer signatures
- perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections
- communicate discrepancies and errors to management
- assist in loading trucks and palletizing product as needed
