FreshPoint is actively seeking highly motivated Local CDL Delivery Drivers in Avon, MA to join their team. This is a full-time position offering local routes that allow drivers to be home daily, an attractive early morning start time between 12:00 AM and 3:00 AM, and the opportunity to earn up to $92,000 annually based on performance and experience. The role requires drivers to efficiently run daily delivery routes with multiple frequent stops, unload and load products using hand trucks, and provide excellent customer service. Drivers operate under a cross-dock model, picking up trucks from nightly deliveries at the designated dock and returning empty trucks to the assigned lot. In addition to driving, the job includes physically demanding tasks such as lifting and moving products weighing up to 100 pounds, working in various weather conditions, and ensuring accurate delivery by verifying shipments and obtaining customer signatures.

Job Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- One year of route delivery driving experience
- Valid Commercial Driver's License Class B or above
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job including lifting up to 100 pounds
- Must be able to work early morning start times between 12:00 AM and 3:00 AM
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to understand and follow Department of Transportation regulations and company policies
Job Qualifications
- High School or GED or equivalent
- 1 year route delivery experience or applicable background driving a straight truck
- ideal candidate has 1 - 2 years of route delivery experience
- Valid Commercial Driver's License - Class B (Class A preferred)
- Must be able to read and understand English
Job Duties
- Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects
- Runs routes efficiently - meeting or exceeding designated route times
- Unload product from the trailer by hand or using a hand cart and place it in designated customer storage areas
- Frequently lift, push, or move product that weighs 1-75 pounds, up to 100 pounds
- Verify delivery of items with the customer and obtain proper signatures
- Contact management for authorization when discrepancies on the invoice and communicate all errors or returns
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip responsibilities in accordance with Department of Transportation regulations and company policies
