US Foods is a leading foodservice distributor with a strong presence across the United States, recognized for its commitment to excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction. As one of the largest food distributors in the nation, US Foods supports thousands of foodservice operators by providing a wide range of products and services that help restaurants, healthcare facilities, hotels, and other establishments thrive. The company takes pride in its culture of promoting from within, offering excellent training programs, and maintaining a continuous improvement focus to empower its associates and ensure operational success. Known for its robust safety culture and collaborative spirit, US Foods is dedicated to fostering an environment where employees can grow their careers and make meaningful contributions to their communities.

As a Delivery Driver at US Foods, you will play a vital role in the company’s supply chain by safely transporting food and related products to various customers throughout your local area. This position offers an attractive starting wage of $29 per hour with weekly pay, and top performers can earn over $100,000 annually. The work schedule is structured as a five-day week between Monday and Saturday, beginning early in the morning around 3am to 5am, typically averaging over 45 hours per week. A significant advantage of this role is that you will be home daily, allowing for a balanced work-life routine. Along with competitive pay, drivers benefit from comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, and an emphasis on safety and wellbeing.

The Delivery Driver position at US Foods is much more than just driving; it requires a high level of responsibility, professionalism, and customer service skills. You will be responsible for safely operating trucks, unloading products using equipment such as two-wheelers and pallet jacks, verifying delivery accuracy, and obtaining required signatures. Handling customer interactions professionally and managing collections when necessary ensures the customer experience remains a top priority. Pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment are also a critical aspect of the job to guarantee safety and compliance. Physical stamina is essential, as frequent lifting and working in varying weather conditions are part of the daily routine.

US Foods stands apart with its dedication to supporting drivers through excellent leadership and continuous professional development. The company’s cultural beliefs emphasize integrity, reliability, and teamwork, and these values drive every associate to help customers succeed while also assisting drivers in advancing their careers.
