Job Description
This hiring opportunity is brought to you by a reputable family-owned trucking company specializing in dedicated and regional freight services. With a commitment to providing consistent work and excellent pay, this company is currently expanding its team by hiring 75 drivers. Known for its supportive work environment and comprehensive benefits, the company offers a chance for professional drivers to grow their careers and enjoy a balanced lifestyle. Its dedicated and regional routes mean drivers have reliable schedules and are home every other weekend, contributing to a better work-life balance amidst the demands of the trucking profession.
The role available is that of a full-time professional truck driver who will be responsible for transporting goods across regional routes with an average of 1700 miles per week. This position involves hauling freight for the Family Tree account, ensuring safe and timely deliveries without the need for handling hazardous materials. Drivers will typically manage approximately three loads each week. One unique aspect of this role is the requirement for trailer unloading, compensated separately to reward the additional labor and time required. Pay is competitive and multi-faceted, including mileage pay starting at 50 cents per mile, plus $125 per trailer and $30 per stop, which allows drivers to maximize their earnings.
In addition to attractive weekly wages averaging $1400 and guaranteed pay during training, the company incentivizes new hires with a $2500 sign-on bonus and a $1500 retention bonus after six months of service. Additionally, the position offers paid orientation, sick time, training, and time off, highlighting the employer's investment in driver wellbeing and professional development. The company also supports its staff with a health benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, and a robust retirement plan featuring a 401(k) with matching contributions. For drivers with families or personal goals, programs such as tuition reimbursement and a referral program provide additional support and incentives.
The driving role offers more than just pay; it fosters a supportive culture with passenger ride-along and pet rider programs, recognizing the importance of driver comfort and morale. Being on the road requires seasoned professionals who are diligent and safety-conscious while maintaining schedules. This company’s emphasis on compensation fairness, bonus structures, and benefits indicates a strong commitment to employee satisfaction, retention, and career longevity. If you are an experienced truck driver seeking steady, well-paid work with significant perks and a family-oriented company atmosphere, this opportunity may be an excellent fit. Work location is on the road, and the company makes sure you are rewarded for your dedication and hard work with competitive base pay and numerous bonuses.
