Job Requirements
- Must hold a valid commercial driver's license or chauffeur's license appropriate for vehicle weight
- Must pass background and drug testing as required by federal or state department of transportation regulations
- Must pass DOT physical as trucks driven weigh over 10k lbs
- Must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle
- Able to lift and move up to 40 pounds
- Must be able to travel frequently
- CDL drivers may be required to be clean shaven to meet customer requirements
Job Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with ability to speak professionally and courteously with customers and staff at delivery points
- Ability to remain focused in a busy environment

Job Duties
- Operate vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws
- Transport loads safely and in a timely manner over required routes, obeying all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Maneuver truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas, following loading crew signals
- Assist with loading or unload goods and materials using specialized equipment when necessary
- Maintain signed invoices, bills of lading, and other required paperwork, delivering documentation to shipping office or appropriate staff after route completion
- Facilitate routine vehicle service checks, including oil, water, gasoline, and air levels, reporting maintenance issues to supervisor
- Arrange trailers in shipping yards for optimal loading and unloading patterns
- Perform other related duties as assigned
