The role of a future CDL Delivery Driver at EquipmentShare in Wichita Falls, TX involves safely and efficiently delivering equipment, products, and materials to customers. This position is integral to the company’s operations, ensuring that the right equipment arrives at the right place and time, supporting construction operations nationwide. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must hold a valid commercial driver’s license or chauffeur’s license appropriate for the vehicle
  • Must pass background check
  • Must pass 10-panel drug screen
  • Must pass DOT physical examination
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to travel frequently
  • Must be able to sit for prolonged periods
  • Ability to maintain professionalism with customers and staff
  • Comply with safety laws and company policies

Job Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with ability to speak professionally and courteously with customers and staff
  • Ability to remain focused in a busy environment
  • Must hold commercial driver’s license or chauffeur’s license appropriate for vehicle weight
  • Ability to pass background and drug screening as required by federal/state transportation regulations
  • Ability to pass DOT physical examination
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds

  • Willingness to comply with grooming standards if required by customers

Job Duties

  • Operate vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws
  • Transport loads safely and in a timely manner over required route, obeying all traffic laws and observing all safety regulations
  • Maneuver truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas, following loading crew signals
  • Assist with loading or load and unload goods and materials using specialized equipment when warranted
  • Maintain signed invoices, shipping bills of lading, and other required paperwork, delivering documentation to appropriate staff after delivery
  • Facilitate routine truck service, including checking oil, water, gasoline, and air, and report malfunctions to supervisor
  • Arrange trailers in shipping yards for optimum loading patterns
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
