Job Requirements

  • Hold a valid commercial drivers license or chauffeur's license appropriate for vehicle weight
  • Be at least 21 years old
  • Pass a 10 panel drug screen as condition of employment
  • Pass background check
  • Pass DOT physical examination
  • Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to sit for long periods
  • Ability to travel frequently
  • Comply with clean-shaven policy if required

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Operate vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws
  • Transport loads safely and in a timely manner over required route, obeying traffic laws and safety regulations
  • Maneuver truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas following loading crew signals
  • Assist with loading of goods and materials using specialized equipment when necessary
  • Maintain signed invoices, shipping bills of lading, and deliver documentation to appropriate staff
  • Facilitate routine truck service including checking oil, water, gasoline, and air
  • Arrange trailers in shipping yards for optimum loading patterns
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
