The Linehaul (Shuttle) Driver role at Core-Mark is an essential position dedicated to sustaining America’s food distribution system by ensuring the efficient, safe, and timely transportation of trailers between warehouse locations and shuttle yards. Drivers in this position have the opportunity to earn competitive weekly pay of up to $1384, provided they meet minimum operational requirements, and benefit from a work schedule that runs Sunday through Thursday starting at 5 pm. This role requires a high level of skill and adherence to safety regulations, notably mandating a Doubles endorsement and relevant experience. As a Linehaul Driver, you will operate tandem trailers, tractor trailers, and/or straight trucks on intrastate and interstate routes, transporting empty and full trailers with a variety of products vital to the supply chain.

Your responsibilities will include carrying out all necessary safety inspections and adhering to Department of Transportation (DOT) rules to ensure the integrity and security of all loads. You will be responsible for reporting any mechanical or safety issues promptly and maintaining thorough records, including daily hours of service logs. The role demands the execution of hook/unhook procedures in line with safety guidelines, as well as the secure locking and parking of equipment in designated areas.
