As part of a Fortune 150 company, Core-Mark has established a strong reputation for empowering its customers, employees, and communities. This commitment has facilitated growth to over $23 billion in revenue, showcasing its expansive reach and influence in the food distribution network. With multiple distribution centers and a comprehensive product range, Core-Mark continues to support convenience retailers with the solutions they need to succeed in a competitive market. The company fosters a safe and inclusive working environment that prioritizes rewards, recognition, and respect for its workforce, encouraging growth and development at every level of the organization.

The Linehaul (Shuttle) Driver role at Core-Mark is an essential position dedicated to sustaining America’s food distribution system by ensuring the efficient, safe, and timely transportation of trailers between warehouse locations and shuttle yards. Drivers in this position have the opportunity to earn competitive weekly pay of up to $1384, provided they meet minimum operational requirements, and benefit from a work schedule that runs Sunday through Thursday starting at 5 pm. This role requires a high level of skill and adherence to safety regulations, notably mandating a Doubles endorsement and relevant experience. As a Linehaul Driver, you will operate tandem trailers, tractor trailers, and/or straight trucks on intrastate and interstate routes, transporting empty and full trailers with a variety of products vital to the supply chain.

Your responsibilities will include carrying out all necessary safety inspections and adhering to Department of Transportation (DOT) rules to ensure the integrity and security of all loads. You will be responsible for reporting any mechanical or safety issues promptly and maintaining thorough records, including daily hours of service logs. The role demands the execution of hook/unhook procedures in line with safety guidelines, as well as the secure locking and parking of equipment in designated areas. Core-Mark emphasizes professionalism in all communications and interactions with customers, vendors, and co-workers, promoting an environment where questions are answered accurately and timely.

This role requires someone who can work effectively as part of a team to fulfill operational objectives, demonstrating flexibility and a strong work ethic. Additional duties include general housekeeping around the tractor and loading dock areas, managing damaged goods and customer returns, and completing other related tasks as necessary to serve the company’s best interests. Core-Mark offers extensive benefits, which include Day 1 Health and Wellness coverage, an Employee Stock Purchase Plan, 401K employer matching, education assistance, and paid time off.
