The role of Delivery Merchandiser – Small Store Relief CDL at Coca-Cola UNITED is a dynamic and critical touch freight position responsible for delivering and rotating stock to retail outlets while maintaining merchandising standards as set by the company. This role requires a high degree of flexibility to cover open needs within the driver team and involves transporting and unloading products efficiently and safely. The Delivery Merchandiser must ensure that all product merchandising inside the outlets aligns with company standards, working closely with the Sales Supervisor to execute the company's picture of success and fostering positive relationships with customers through excellent customer service. This role provides valuable feedback and recommendations to leadership regarding competitive threats and business opportunities. Responsibilities include setting up merchandise and sales promotion displays, communicating any store-level issues to management, and complying with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. The position demands maintaining accurate accounting of all cases and customer transactions, ensuring the proper care of products, equipment, and daily route settlements. Candidates will also be tasked with maintaining organized backstock, keeping coolers, racks, and shelves clean, assisting with training and coaching of delivery merchandiser trainees, and building strong relationships with the customer base across assigned customers. The role requires adaptability, professionalism, and the ability to work independently while performing appropriate duties as assigned by management. This position offers a salary starting from $62,400 annually with a Monday through Friday work schedule based in the Atlanta division.
