Job Description

ABC Supply Interiors is a nationally recognized specialty distributor that focuses on providing high-quality building materials such as drywall, ceiling tiles, steel framing, and other essential products used by commercial and residential contractors. The company combines the extensive resources and capabilities of a large national distributor with the personalized service typical of a locally owned business, ensuring that customers receive both reliability and individual attention. Known for its commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction, ABC Supply Interiors supports contractors in delivering their projects on time and with the best materials available.

The available position is for a licensed CDL driver to join the team in a rewarding local delivery role. This role is critical in ensuring the safe and accurate delivery of building materials from the facility to job sites. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 6 am to 4 pm, providing a stable and predictable routine for employees. The position does not require any over-the-road travel, making it an excellent opportunity for those seeking a local driving role.

The CDL driver will be responsible for transporting a variety of building materials using delivery vehicles, including flatbeds, straight trucks, curtainside, and drywall boom trucks. This position also involves physically unloading, stocking, and positioning materials on job sites, often requiring teamwork to move heavy items safely. The driver will oversee the loading process to verify order accuracy and product quality, and they must comply with all regulatory and safety guidelines. In some cases, the role may require operating equipment such as a boom, crane, or Gradall based on customer needs.

Safety is a paramount concern, and the driver must maintain a safe environment during loading, transit, and unloading, coordinating with team members and job site personnel. The role also has warehouse responsibilities, including loading and unloading materials as assigned. This diverse scope of duties ensures a dynamic work environment where skills in driving, materials handling, and equipment operation are all utilized.

This position offers the benefits of working for a well-established company that values diversity and equal opportunity, actively encouraging women, minorities, and veterans to apply. The compensation includes competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package that supports employee well-being and work-life balance. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance after an eligibility period, a 401(k) with company match, disability coverage, life insurance, paid vacation and holidays, and other valuable perks. ABC Supply Interiors prides itself on maintaining a drug-free workplace and fostering a supportive and inclusive culture.
