Job Description
ABC Supply is America's largest wholesale distributor of exterior and interior building products, known for its strong commitment to employees and exceptional workplace culture. Established as a leader in the building products industry, ABC Supply prides itself on delivering high-quality materials to contractors and builders across the country. The company has earned recognition as a Gallup Great Workplace every year since 2007 and has been named one of the best places to work in the nation by Glassdoor. ABC Supply fosters a supportive and inclusive environment where employees are valued, talents are recognized, and professional growth is encouraged. With a focus on employee satisfaction, the company prioritizes work-life balance, ensuring that its team members have rewarding careers while still enjoying time at home with their families. The company is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity and actively encourages applications from women, minorities, and veterans. ABC Supply’s promise to its employees is comprehensive, including competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities that pave the way for a fulfilling career.
The CDL Driver role at ABC Supply offers a unique professional driving opportunity for licensed commercial drivers who are eager to advance their careers with a nationally established company. This position focuses on delivering building materials efficiently and safely, with the benefit of allowing drivers to return home each night rather than engaging in over-the-road travel. As a CDL Driver, your primary responsibility is to ensure the safety and accuracy of each delivery, from the moment you leave the ABC Supply facility until the completion of your assigned job. This role involves both ground and rooftop deliveries, requiring physical strength and the ability to work at heights. Drivers must adhere to assigned delivery schedules, maintain rigorous safety standards, and document every step of their delivery process using the company's camera phone system. Responsibilities also include load checks to secure materials, cooperation with Delivery Material Handlers to set and unload materials, and completing necessary logs and government paperwork accurately and on time. This role may also involve warehouse duties such as loading and unloading trucks, underscoring the importance of versatility and teamwork.
At ABC Supply, the CDL Driver position is designed with an employee-first approach that recognizes hard work and dedication. The company supports its drivers with structured processes to facilitate efficiency and safety while providing the benefits and resources needed for personal and professional well-being. From competitive pay to comprehensive health benefits and retirement plans, ABC Supply commits to your future and work-life balance. If you are a CDL driver seeking a respected company that values its employees, offers stability, and provides meaningful work that directly impacts the building industry, this opportunity at ABC Supply is a perfect match. Join a team where you can grow your career, be part of an award-winning company culture, and drive success day after day.
