Job Description
Vantive is a pioneering company dedicated to vital organ therapies, with a rich legacy of 70 years focused on kidney care innovation. As a leader in the healthcare industry, Vantive is committed to enhancing the lives of patients and the efficiency of care teams worldwide by developing advanced digital solutions and services that improve dialysis experiences. The company’s mission is to extend lives and expand possibilities through continuous innovation and dedication to patient care. Vantive operates with a forward-thinking mindset, looking beyond kidney care to invest in broader vital organ therapies that promise greater flexibility and better outcomes in treatment administration. The company culture is grounded in commitment to excellence, courage, and a community spirit where employees are driven by the noble cause of improving patient outcomes globally. Vantive offers meaningful work for those who aspire to be at the forefront of medical innovation and patient care.
The Service Specialist (CDL Delivery Driver) role at Vantive is a critical position responsible for the safe operation of an 18 to 24-foot commercial vehicle to deliver dialysis products to a wide range of home patients and kidney dialysis centers. This job combines logistics expertise with compassionate service, ensuring patients receive essential dialysis supplies reliably and on time. Deliveries to home patients include providing dialysis solutions, rotating stock to maintain supply freshness, and verifying order accuracy, with occasional pickups and returns. The schedule for this role is structured as a 4-day workweek, typically from early morning hours (5 am to 3 pm or 6 am to 4 pm), with 1-2 overnight stays per week where hotel and meals are provided. Notably, weekends are off, offering a balanced work-life rhythm.
The position demands physical stamina as it involves frequent lifting and handling of heavy medical supplies, sometimes exceeding 45 cases per delivery. The Service Specialist is also required to work in diverse environments ranging from distribution centers and large vehicles to patients’ homes and clinical settings in both urban and rural locations. The role calls for a highly responsible individual with strong communication skills who can interact effectively with dialysis patients, healthcare professionals, supply chain members, and customer service teams. Safety is paramount, and all activities must comply with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and Vantive’s safety protocols. Compensation for this role is competitive, with an hourly rate of $33.17 and an estimated annual salary range from $51,200 to $70,400, reflecting factors like experience and location. Beyond pay, Vantive offers extensive benefits starting from day one to support employee well-being and career growth, including paid time off, insurance coverages, retirement plans, and educational assistance.
Joining Vantive means becoming part of a mission-driven organization that values diversity, equitable treatment, and reasonable accommodations to support all employees. The company also emphasizes transparency in compensation and strives to maintain a safe and inclusive workplace. The Service Specialist position is ideal for candidates seeking a fulfilling and impactful career in healthcare logistics, contributing directly to the quality of life for patients relying on vital organ therapies. Working with Vantive offers unique opportunities to grow professionally in a company that is revolutionizing treatment landscapes, promoting health, safety, and innovation at every turn.
