Job Description

Nutrien is a global leader in the agricultural industry, renowned for providing innovative crop inputs and services that ultimately make a positive impact on the world. With a strong commitment to its mission of Feeding the Future, Nutrien operates by a culture of care and a foundation of core values which include putting safety first, acting with integrity, fostering teamwork, and delivering excellence in every aspect of its business. As a major provider of crop nutrients, seeds, crop protection products, and services, Nutrien plays a critical role in supporting farmers and agricultural productivity worldwide.

Nutrien Ag Solutions, the retail division of Nutrien, stands out as a full-acre solutions provider that operates over 2,000 trusted locations across North America, South America, and Australia. With more than 150 years of experience, this division has consistently helped growers achieve the highest possible yields using sustainable farming practices. Nutrien Ag Solutions offers a broad array of products, including proprietary brands such as Loveland Products, Inc., Proven Seed, and Dyna-Gro Seed. Additionally, the company provides financial, custom application, and precision agriculture services that are focused on boosting farm profitability and sustainability.

The company’s business model is supported by a dedicated network of nearly 26,000 employees who work together to operate world-class production, distribution, and retail facilities. Nutrien strives to help growers meet their needs efficiently while fostering a more profitable, sustainable, and secure future for farmers and all stakeholders involved in the agriculture supply chain. The company fosters a workplace culture that encourages career growth and innovation by raising the expectations of what an agricultural company can achieve.

This specific role at Nutrien involves operating as a Tractor-Trailer Truck Driver, a critical position responsible for transporting agricultural materials to and from various locations. The driver will safely operate a semi-truck on assigned routes and manage the loading and unloading of trailers using forklifts or hand trucks. This position requires adherence to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, including performing truck inspections, maintaining accurate shipping paperwork, and reporting any vehicle maintenance issues promptly. The driver will ensure all loads are transported safely, observing traffic laws and safety protocols throughout the route.

The role prioritizes safety, teamwork, and efficiency, making it essential that the driver meets driving record standards, holds a valid CDL, and complies with DOT physical and medical requirements. One of the attractive aspects of the position is that it offers local work with no long hauls, allowing the driver to be home every night. Moreover, employees enjoy full-time hours with overtime opportunities during busy seasons, comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement programs with employer matching, and paid time off. Nutrien not only offers a stable and supportive work environment but provides a meaningful purpose by contributing to global food security through the daily work of its employees.

This position is ideal for individuals who are safety-conscious, responsible, and seeking a rewarding career in a company that supports agriculture and the community. Nutrien is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion, evaluating candidates without discrimination.
