CDL Delivery Driver

We are seeking a professional and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team at Valley Interior Products, Inc. located in Nashville, Tennessee. This role requires the safe and efficient operation of commercial motor vehicles, primarily flatbed or boom trucks, to deliver building materials to assigned job sites. The ideal candidate will have a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a minimum of a Class B license, and the stamina to handle heavy lifting up to 100 pounds. This position demands a high level of responsibility, compliance with state and federal transportation regulations, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. As a team player, the Delivery Driver will not only transport materials safely but also assist in loading and unloading, ensuring all freight arrives undamaged and in a timely manner.

This role is essential in maintaining the company’s reputation for reliability and excellence. The successful candidate will perform regular inspections on trucks and trailers to confirm their safe operating condition and maintain accurate records to comply with Department of Transportation standards. They will be required to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers, demonstrating professionalism and a proactive attitude. The physical requirements include extended periods of stationary driving, frequent lifting, and moving of heavy materials, as well as working in outdoor environments regardless of weather conditions.
