Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
  • minimum Class B license, Class A strongly preferred
  • clear three (3) year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
  • knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations
  • stamina to lift heavy materials up to 100+ lbs.
  • ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • ability to operate commercial motor vehicle and boom vehicle safely
  • must be able to remain stationary while driving 40% of the time
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to prioritize job sites and deadlines
  • ability to manage stress
  • ability to multitask
  • able to receive information and directions
  • able to communicate solutions quickly if problems occur
  • able to demonstrate high degree of sound judgment

Job Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED

Job Duties

  • Inspect truck/trailer for defects for safe operation
  • safely load building materials onto flatbed or boom truck and unload products at commercial and residential job sites
  • deliver materials to assigned area as directed by the customer while prioritizing personal safety and the safety of those around you
  • maintain records required for compliance with State and Federal regulations
  • report all accidents involving driver or company equipment
  • lift heavy building materials up to 100+ lbs. for load/unload
  • provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional attitude
