With a rich history spanning over 150 years, Nutrien has grown to become one of the world's largest providers of crop solutions, offering a diverse range of products that include proprietary brands such as Loveland Products, Proven Seed, and Dyna-Gro Seed. Nutrien's extensive network, comprising more than 2,000 retail locations across North America, South America, and Australia, enables the company to serve the needs of farmers efficiently and effectively. The company's core purpose, "Feeding the Future," drives its commitment to ensuring food security, sustainability, and profitability for growers worldwide.

Nutrien Ag Solutions, the retail division of Nutrien, plays a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive agricultural solutions through its expert network of crop consultants. The company values a culture of care, emphasizing safety, integrity, teamwork, and excellence in all operations. Nutrien provides a robust environment for career growth, with nearly 26,000 employees collectively contributing to a world-class network of production, distribution, and retail facilities.

The CDL Delivery Driver position located in Floydada, Texas, is a full-time, entry-level role focused on supporting Nutrien's mission by ensuring the timely and safe delivery of agricultural inputs, including chemicals and fertilizers. This role demands a commitment to safety, accuracy, and efficiency, as drivers operate company trucks to transport materials either directly to customers or to designated application sites. The driver is responsible for maintaining accurate delivery records, adhering to government regulations, and following all safety protocols when handling bulk chemicals and fertilizers.

The role involves physically demanding tasks such as loading and unloading trailers using forklifts or hand trucks, requiring the driver to be able to lift and carry loads up to 50 pounds safely. Additionally, the CDL Delivery Driver must stay knowledgeable about the hazards associated with the products being transported and take appropriate precautions to prevent accidents or incidents. Regular maintenance and cleaning of delivery equipment are also part of the job duties, ensuring that all vehicles and tools remain in optimal working condition.

Successful candidates will have a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a hazmat endorsement preferred, a clean driving record meeting company standards, and the ability to pass physical and medical examinations as well as substance abuse screenings as mandated by the Department of Transportation. While driving experience is preferred, this entry-level position offers an opportunity for individuals seeking to start or advance their career in the agricultural logistics sector.

Working for Nutrien means joining a company that values diversity and equal opportunity, offering a supportive workplace where employees are encouraged to grow and succeed. The role offers the chance to contribute meaningfully to the agriculture industry, helping to provide food security and sustainable farming solutions for the future. Nutrien's recruitment process includes application, resume review, pre-screening or interview, offer acceptance, pre-employment conditions, and finally, integration into the Nutrien family. The company strongly emphasizes compliance with legal age requirements, background checks, and substance tests to ensure a safe and dependable workforce.
