Job Requirements
- Must have a valid Class A driver’s license
- Valid Medical Examiner's Card
- Hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain it within 60 days
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Minimum one year of Class A professional driving experience within the last five years
- Successful completion of Airgas background and motor vehicle check
- DOT Clearinghouse verification required
- Ability to lift or move 25 to 75 lbs regularly and occasionally over 100 lbs
- Willingness to work outdoors in changing temperatures
- Ability to maintain a drug-free workplace
- Adherence to safety regulations and policies
- Flexible to work overtime as needed
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Forklift experience
- Touch freight delivery experience
- Valid Class A driver’s license
- Valid Medical Examiner’s Card
- Hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain it within 60 days
- Minimum one year of Class A professional driving experience within the last five years
- Ability to lift 25 to 75 lbs regularly and occasionally 76 to over 100 lbs
- Willingness to work outdoors in changing temperatures
- Ability to maintain a drug-free workplace
- Adherence to safety regulations and policies
Job Duties
- Operate a Class B Hazmat vehicle to deliver compressed and liquid gas cylinders and hard goods along designated routes
- Collect empty cylinders from customers and address inquiries for customer satisfaction
- Record all transactions accurately and obtain necessary customer signatures
- Handle loading and unloading of all materials
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Maintain professional appearance and represent the company during deliveries
