The Driver, Formula CDL-A position is a vital role within this organization, responsible for ensuring the timely and safe delivery of food and foodservice products across intrastate and interstate routes. This role requires driving tractor trailers or straight trucks on various routes, including local, over-the-road (OTR), shuttle, and overnight drive-and-drop routes. The position operates under a component pay structure with a minimum pay of $350 per day and involves working 4-5 days per week depending on business needs, with no shifts scheduled on Sundays. Shifts typically average between 10 to 12 hours, with dispatch times ranging from midnight to 5 AM depending on the assigned route.

Delivery drivers are not just transportation operators; they embody the company's commitment to service excellence by building lasting relationships with customers while ensuring that their products arrive in perfect condition and on schedule. This position demands a professional and courteous approach when interacting with customers, vendors, and coworkers, as well as the ability to function effectively as a team member. The successful candidate will need to follow all DOT laws, maintain a clean driving record, and be able to pass various required tests including post-offer drug screening, criminal background checks, and road tests. Physical demands include the ability to hand-lift product cases weighing typically between 10 to 35 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 to 90 pounds, using equipment such as two-wheelers and lift gates.
