As a subsidiary of the industry-renowned Performance Food Group (PFG), the company is committed to delivering not only quality food products but also exceptional service that empowers independent businesses to thrive and achieve their goals. This exceptional commitment places Performance Foodservice at the forefront of the food distribution industry.

The Driver, Formula CDL-A position at Performance Foodservice plays a crucial role in ensuring that the country’s food supply chain remains efficient and reliable. Rigorous adherence to safety guidelines and company policies is essential, along with maintaining thorough and accurate documentation of deliveries and freight. Drivers are expected to perform load checks, damage control, and inventory verification, while also managing cash or check collections when required.

This role requires physical strength and dexterity because it involves hand-lifting and utilizing equipment such as two-wheelers and lift gates to move product cases typically weighing between 10 to 35 pounds and occasionally up to 60 to 90 pounds. The driver must maintain an organized and clean workspace by performing general housekeeping duties around the tractor and loading dock areas.
