Job Description

Mesilla Valley Transportation is recognized as the largest privately owned trucking fleet in the United States, combining extensive industry experience with a strong commitment to its drivers. As a reputable logistics and transportation company, MVT operates with a driver-first approach that prioritizes the wellbeing, income, and work-life balance of its employees. This company is well-respected for delivering dependable freight services while offering competitive pay, extensive benefits, and flexible scheduling options, making it a preferred employer for CDL-A truck drivers across the country.

The role offered is for CDL-A Truck Drivers who will primarily handle regional freight routes using dry van trailers on a no-touch freight system. This position offers steady pay, with weekly earnings of up to $1,680 depending on route, location, experience, and performance. Drivers at Mesilla Valley Transportation benefit from consistent freight lanes engineered to maintain steady miles and minimize downtime, resulting in reliable income and fewer delays. The job features weekly or bi-weekly home time options, accommodating different lifestyles and personal preferences without sacrificing earning potential.

Drivers in this role will operate a fleet that boasts exceptionally low equipment downtime, less than 1%, supported by Penske roadside assistance and replacement trucks to ensure deliveries continue on time. With 100% no-touch freight, the drivers spend more time on the road and less time loading or unloading freight. MVT also rewards drivers who maintain efficient driving habits with incentives based on miles per gallon and offers exciting opportunities such as a quarterly new car giveaway and a $25,000 grand prize for top performers. The company provides advanced tools including a driver app for logs and paperwork, enhancing operational ease and compliance.

Full benefits are available from day one and include medical, dental, vision insurance, paid time off, rider programs for passengers and pets, referral bonuses, and additional fuel-related incentives. The referral bonus alone is $1,000, which underscores the company's commitment to growing its team with quality drivers. With applications accepted on an ongoing basis and no set deadline, this opportunity suits professional CDL-A drivers looking for stable employment with a carrier that values their time and effort. This is a full-time, on-the-road position requiring residence within 100 miles of Dallas, Texas, with special experience requirements for candidates based out of Houston and Phoenix.

Overall, the CDL-A Truck Driver position with Mesilla Valley Transportation offers an excellent career option for experienced commercial drivers seeking competitive compensation, career stability, excellent benefits, and a respectful work environment at the nation's leading private trucking fleet.
