The company offers a variety of opportunities for drivers, including positions at their Oakland, CA Service Center. One such opportunity is the role of a CDL A City Pickup and Delivery (P&D) Driver. This position features a starting pay rate of $39.32 per hour and offers employees access to paid time off after the first 90 calendar days of employment. The CDL A City P&D Driver is responsible for city delivery and pickup of freight with a daily return to the terminal, allowing for a local work schedule. The job involves multiple stops each workday, handling scanning equipment to track deliveries accurately, engaging with customers directly, and completing potential liftgate deliveries using an electric pallet jack. This position requires a candidate who can safely operate equipment and meet Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, including passing a pre-employment DOT physical and drug screening as well as a successful road test.

Job Requirements
- CDL class A
- minimum 1 year combined verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years
- good driving record with no commercial serious violations and no more than 3 moving violations within the past 3 years
- age 23 or 21 if FMCSA specs met
- ability to safely operate equipment at all times
- pass pre-employment DOT physical and drug screen
- complete successful road test
- ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty
