Job Requirements
- CDL Class A license
- At least 1 year combined verifiable Class A driving experience in the past 3 years
- Good driving record with no commercial serious violations and no more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years
- Minimum age 23 or 21 with FMCSA military to civilian CDL transition
- Ability to operate equipment safely
- Ability to pass pre-employment DOT physical and drug screen
- Ability to complete successful road test
- Ability to bend, lift, and stoop
- Dependability
Job Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license
- Minimum 1 year combined verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years
- Good driving record with no commercial serious violations and no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Successful completion of a road test
- Ability to operate equipment safely
- Ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty
- Prefer CDL endorsements for doubles/triples, tanker, and haz-mat
- Prefer experience hauling haz-mat
- Prefer local delivery experience
- Prefer LTL experience
- Prefer electric pallet jack experience
Job Duties
- Operate a CDL Class A vehicle for city pickups and deliveries
- Make multiple stops per day ensuring accurate and timely freight delivery
- Use scanning equipment to track and update shipment statuses
- Interact professionally with customers during pickups and deliveries
- Complete liftgate deliveries using an electric pallet jack as necessary
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies while operating equipment
- Return to the terminal daily after completion of routes
