R+L Carriers is currently seeking CDL A City P&D Drivers at its San Jose, CA Service Center. This full-time role offers a competitive starting pay of $39.32 per hour with work scheduled Monday through Friday across various shifts. A key benefit of this position is that drivers return home every day, making it ideal for those who prefer local routes. Primary responsibilities include the city pickup and delivery of freight with multiple daily stops, interaction with customers, and use of scanning equipment. The role also involves completing liftgate deliveries using an electric pallet jack. Preferred qualifications include endorsements for doubles/triples, tanker, and haz-mat, as well as experience in haz-mat hauling, local delivery, LTL, and electric pallet jack operation.
