Job Requirements
- 21 or older
- Pass pre-employment drug screening
- Possess valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Ability to lift, push, or move freight weighing 40 to 60 pounds on average and up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Willingness to work overtime, occasional weekends and holidays
- Maintain safe and professional driving practices
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL)
- Clean driving record
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- One year of customer delivery experience preferred
- Six months experience with hand cart or hand truck preferred
- Six months food and beverage industry experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to lift and handle freight weighing up to 100 pounds
- Two years of consistent work history preferred
Job Duties
- Safely operate tractor-trailer for local delivery routes
- Manually load, unload, and deliver various products including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, and dry goods
- Build positive customer relationships by maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor
- Follow assigned route schedules ensuring timely and accurate deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery records and comply with safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with customers and dispatch
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues
