Job Description
System Transport is a reputable transportation company that has been diligently serving the haulage industry since 1972. Known for its strong commitment to safety, reliability, and excellence, System Transport specializes in providing flatbed trucking services across the United States. Serving as an essential link in the nation's supply chain, the company plays a critical role in moving materials that build America, making it an ideal choice for professional drivers who want to be part of a company with a deep sense of purpose and pride. System Transport is valued not just for its operational success but also for fostering a culture that feels like home despite the magnitude of its services, combining big company resources with a close-knit, supportive work environment.
Now hiring experienced CDL-A flatbed drivers, System Transport offers an attractive full-time position with competitive pay ranging from $49,504 to $91,728 per year, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package. This role primarily involves driving over-the-road (OTR) routes, where drivers will transport flatbed freight across various destinations. The company values experience and a strong safety record and rewards its drivers through various avenues including per-mile pay ranging from $0.55 to $0.60 depending on experience, weekly earnings potential between $952.74 to $1,764.56, and additional compensation like tarp pay, stop pay, detention pay, border crossing pay, safety bonuses, and over-dimensional pay.
The position includes a paid orientation program in Spokane, Washington, where airfare, accommodations, and meals are covered, helping new hires get acquainted with company policies and truck handling before starting their routes. System Transport also boasts an excellent array of benefits, from medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, to long and short-term disability coverage, health savings accounts, 401(k) plans with company match, and employee assistance programs. The company offers a $1,800 transition package as well as paid time off accrual, allowing employees to earn sick time and vacation hours based on tenure.
System Transport promotes a safe driving culture and enforces policies such as no pets on trucks but allows guests aged 7 and up after 90 days of safe driving. Physical capability is also essential, as drivers must be able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot platform twice during orientation. This role demands accountability, commitment to safety, and professionalism, making it ideal for drivers who thrive in a structure that rewards longevity and dedication.
If you proudly hold a CDL-A license with relevant flatbed driving experience and seek to join an industry leader that respects its workforce and offers career growth opportunities alongside great compensation and benefits, System Transport invites you to apply. Join a company that’s America proud and flatbed strong, committed to keeping the country moving with drivers who are at the wheel of progress.
