Job Requirements
- One year of verified tractor-trailer experience with a class A CDL license
- no more than three moving violations in the past three years
- no more than one DOT preventable accident in the past three years
- able to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen
- able to pass DOT physical and road test
- direct store delivery experience preferred
- registered to the FMCSA Clearing House
Job Qualifications
- Valid class A CDL license
- minimum of one year verified tractor-trailer driving experience
- strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- excellent time management and communication skills
- ability to perform physical tasks related to loading and unloading cargo
- familiarity with direct store delivery preferred
- registered with FMCSA Clearing House
Job Duties
- Operate a class A commercial tractor-trailer to deliver products across designated local routes
- safely load and unload freight using lift-gates, electric pallet jacks, or carts and ramps
- adhere to all company and regulatory safety policies and DOT regulations
- manage delivery schedules to ensure timely arrivals and pickups
- maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch
- perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- report any incidents or mechanical issues promptly to maintenance
