Job Description

Blair Logistics is a reputable and driver-focused trucking company specializing in lease purchase contracts for CDL-A truck drivers. Blair Logistics operates as a carrier committed to providing professional drivers with the tools and support necessary to succeed independently while enjoying consistent home time and competitive earnings. With a solid reputation across the Southeast, Midwest, Northeast, and Texas, Blair Logistics emphasizes driver empowerment through clear revenue paths and customized driving experiences. The company's business model centers on contractor drivers who desire both flexibility and financial opportunity, and Blair supports these drivers with preferred traffic lanes, strong percentage pay, and transparent settlements that help maintain steady income and control over their routes. Blair Logistics stands out in the industry by offering weekend resets every week, allowing drivers to plan their lives around consistent home time, which is invaluable for work-life balance in the demanding trucking career.

The role of a Contracting CDL-A Truck Driver with Blair Logistics involves operating late-model tractor-trailers under a lease purchase plan designed to transition drivers toward full vehicle ownership. Drivers will earn competitive take-home pay—up to $3,500 per week—with the potential to maximize earnings through multiple revenue-share options based on the type of equipment operated. In addition to strong percentage pay of up to 76% of the linehaul and 100% of the fuel surcharge, drivers receive a $5,000 sign-on bonus that helps jumpstart their lease and work. Blair’s lease purchase program offers affordable and predictable weekly truck payments typically ranging between $500 and $600. The trucking equipment is late-model and well-maintained to minimize downtime, and when drivers pull Blair trailers, all trailer maintenance costs are covered, significantly reducing out-of-pocket expenses. This program offers a clear path to ownership within two to four years, depending on the truck's model year and condition, with a manageable balloon payment at the end of the lease.

Blair Logistics also provides exceptional benefits and driver support to ensure that their contractors can focus on the road. New drivers receive an all-expenses-paid orientation with full training. There are referral bonuses of $3,000 for recommending qualified drivers to the company, along with access to maintenance and escrow accounts to help manage operating expenses. The company offers a suite of insurance options, including no-cost general liability and cargo insurance, optional damage, occupational/accidental and bobtail insurance, along with a rider policy. Drivers benefit from weekly settlements through direct deposit for quick and reliable earnings. Maintenance, tire, and fuel discounts help reduce costs further, while a plate assistance program alleviates some administrative burdens. Most importantly, Blair Logistics does not practice forced dispatch, giving drivers autonomy to decide when and how they operate their trucks.

This position is ideal for CDL-A licensed drivers with at least one year of over-the-road (OTR) experience in the last three years and a minimum of six months flatbed hauling experience within the past decade. Blair Logistics is continuously hiring and offers ongoing application acceptance so drivers can join at their convenience. The pay and bonus structure may vary based on job type, location, driver performance, and experience level, with base pay percentages ranging from 68% to 76% of the linehaul. As a Blair Logistics Contracting CDL-A Truck Driver, you have the opportunity to build your own trucking business with the backing of a carrier that prioritizes your success and independence.
