Job Description

Hyway Transportation is a reputable national over-the-road (OTR) trucking company known for its commitment to drivers and excellence in freight transportation. The company has earned a strong reputation for treating its employees with respect and fostering a family atmosphere through its open-door policy. Dedicated to providing high-quality equipment and consistently excellent pay, Hyway Transportation supports its team drivers by ensuring flexible home time and rewarding performance with a range of bonuses and incentives. Their focus is on delivering a superior work environment for drivers, understanding the demands of the trucking profession, and providing the necessary resources and support to help drivers succeed on the road.

In search of experienced established teams, Hyway Transportation offers a highly rewarding role for team drivers who can earn over 4,500 miles weekly with no touch freight. This means drivers don’t have to handle the freight directly, providing a smoother and more stress-free driving experience. The company offers a transition bonus, paid orientation, and pays for PC Miler practical miles to ensure teams are compensated fairly from the start. Additionally, drivers can expect daily payroll processing with a quick two-day turnaround, a monthly mileage bonus, and East Coast premium pay without the complications of driving through New York City boroughs. Paid holidays, immediate PTO accrual, and a generous 401k match further enhance the employment benefits.

Hyway Transportation ensures that their trucks are late model Peterbilt and Kenworth vehicles equipped with driver-friendly features such as refrigerators, 200-watt inverters, auxiliary power units (APUs), and truck navigation systems to provide comfort and convenience during long hauls. Their driver's facility in Michigan exemplifies their dedication to creating a standing workspace, complete with a fully equipped kitchen, outdoor grills, free laundry service, WiFi-enabled lounge with a 72-inch flat-screen TV, and clean restrooms including showers with towels furnished. Team drivers are flown to Michigan for orientation, with reimbursement options available for those who prefer to drive their personal vehicle.

Operating on a flexible and mileage-based pay structure, Hyway Transportation supports team drivers seeking consistent routes and competitive pay, combined with a rider and pet policy for those desiring companionship on the road. Elite Pass and other toll devices are provided to ensure hassle-free travel on toll roads. The company prides itself on real team dispatches with steady miles to ensure driver stability. With an ongoing commitment to employee ownership, drivers become shareholders through an employee stock ownership plan (ESOP), allowing them to share in the company’s success.

This opportunity is perfect for team drivers with a CDL and at least two years of experience who are looking for a respected carrier that values their contributions, offers excellent pay and benefits, and prioritizes driver comfort and support. Hyway Transportation’s comprehensive approach creates a professional and rewarding environment tailored to the unique needs of team truck drivers in the demanding OTR industry.
