Job Requirements
- 21 plus years of age
- pre-employment drug screen
- valid Class A commercial driver license
- clean driving record
- ability to read, speak and understand English
- physically able to lift, push or move products weighing 40-60 pounds occasionally up to 100 pounds
- ability to perform assigned shuttle driving and delivery tasks
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A commercial driver license with a clean driving record
- knowledge of highway traffic signs and signals
- ability to read, speak, and understand English sufficiently to communicate and complete reports
- CDL doubles/triples endorsement preferred
- proven safe driving experience
- ability to handle freight weighing 40-60 pounds occasionally up to 100 pounds
Job Duties
- Operate tractor-trailer safely and efficiently
- transport doubles and potentially triples between Sysco facility and shuttle yards
- unload and deliver products to customer locations as needed
- adhere to assigned route schedules
- comply with all traffic laws and company safety policies
- perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- maintain accurate delivery and transportation records
