The role of Hourly CDL-A Delivery Driver is essential in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of America’s food distribution chain. This position is primarily responsible for delivering food and food-related products along intrastate and interstate routes, ensuring that customer orders arrive safely, on time, and in excellent condition. Unlike traditional delivery roles, this position focuses exclusively on driving and delivery without requiring merchandising, stocking, or cash handling duties. Drivers operate well-maintained vehicles equipped with automatic transmissions, and company-provided uniforms and safety boots are supplied to ensure professionalism and safety. The schedule offers a 4-day workweek with shifts typically starting between 1 pm and 3 pm and lasting about 12 hours, providing a balance between work and personal life.

In this position, drivers perform critical safety inspections compliant with Department of Transportation regulations, maintain accurate records, and serve as the public face of Core-Mark during deliveries, fostering strong customer relationships through professional and courteous interactions.
