The company offers a comprehensive range of fresh and broad-line products, programs, and solutions to customers throughout the United States and Canada. Core-Mark has established a solid reputation for empowering customers, employees, and communities, contributing to its continuous growth and leadership within the market. The company places a strong emphasis on equal employment opportunities, ensuring a diverse and inclusive workforce by providing fair treatment without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, marital status, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, or any other legally protected characteristic. Employees benefit from a safe, inclusive working environment and a culture centered around rewards, recognition, and respect. The employment opportunity offered is competitive with a base pay starting at $26 per hour plus component pay based on job efficiency, promoting both financial and professional growth for its workers.

The position available is for an Hourly CDL-A Driver focused on local delivery, with the significant advantage of being home daily and enjoying a four-day workweek. The role primarily involves operating tractor trailers or straight trucks to deliver food and food-related products, playing a vital role in America’s food distribution system. Drivers work shifts generally starting between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m., averaging 12-hour days with overtime pay available after 40 hours, and additional off-day bonuses. The position ensures that drivers work with safe, well-maintained equipment featuring automatic transmissions, and provides company uniforms and safety boots. Drivers are not responsible for merchandising, stocking, or cash handling duties, allowing them to focus primarily on safe, timely delivery.

As a Delivery Driver, you serve as the face of Core-Mark to customers, building lasting relationships while ensuring all products are delivered in perfect condition and on schedule. The role demands adherence to strict Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies, including performing pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles and reporting necessary repairs. You will be responsible for securely loading and unloading freight, verifying product count with customer invoices, and ensuring all paperwork is accurately completed. Interaction with customers, vendors, and coworkers must be professional and courteous at all times. The role also involves maintaining cleanliness and safety around the tractor, trailer, and loading dock areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for drivers with at least one year of commercial driving experience and six months of delivery experience who hold a valid CDL-A license. Core-Mark offers a supportive and rewarding workplace with growth opportunities, including education assistance, a 401K employer matching program, employee stock purchase options, and comprehensive health and wellness benefits starting on day one. If you are committed to safety, customer service, and working within a strong team environment, this position offers both personal and professional advancement in a critical industry sector.
