The role of Driver, Hourly CDL-A, is a crucial position that supports the backbone of America’s food supply chain. These delivery drivers are responsible not only for the timely and safe delivery of food and food-related products to customers but they also personify the Core-Mark brand by building and maintaining lasting relationships with customers. This full-time position offers a competitive base pay rate starting at $26 per hour, with additional component pay rewards based on job efficiency. The work schedule typically involves shifts that begin between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m., averaging 12-hour days but with the benefit of a four-day workweek and the advantage of returning home daily.

In addition to driving, the position involves performing general housekeeping duties around the tractor and loading dock, managing the delivery paperwork accurately, and adhering to all regulatory requirements such as hours of service logging. Drivers play a critical role in monitoring the condition of delivered goods, reporting any damages, and managing returns while ensuring security measures are followed. This position requires physical capability to handle freight of various weights, utilizing equipment such as lift gates and two-wheelers. The company provides overtime pay after 40 hours, an off-day bonus, and a safe working environment committed to employee health and wellness from day one.
