Job Requirements
- 30 months of recent CDL-A driving experience or Walmart Fleet Academy completion
- valid Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain within 120 days
- clean safety driving record with limited moving violations
- no recent serious traffic violations or preventable accidents
- reside within 250 miles of assigned facility or willing to relocate
- commitment to customer service and safety
- positive team player attitude
Job Qualifications
- Interstate Class A Commercial Driver’s License with Hazmat endorsement or willing to obtain within 120 days
- minimum 30 months experience in a full-time Class A tractor/trailer driving position in the last 4 years or completion of Walmart Fleet Development Academy
- clean driving record with no more than two moving violations in the last 3 years
- no serious traffic violations in the last 3 years
- no preventable accidents while operating commercial motor vehicles in the last 3 years
- no preventable DOT recordable accidents in the last 10 years
- no accidents resulting in fatality or catastrophic injury
- must live within 250 miles of assigned facility or relocate within 90 days
Job Duties
- Make no touch freight deliveries of merchandise to Walmart locations within the region
- preference schedule options that work best for the driver
- maintain a safe driving record by adhering to safety regulations and standards
- arrive on time and deliver merchandise as scheduled
- represent Walmart’s values and customer service expectations on the road
- participate in driver programs such as Referral Program and Driver Mentor Program
- contribute to the overall success of the Walmart private fleet team
