The CDL Class A Driver - OTR role at Red Stag Logistics is a full-time position designed for highly motivated and experienced drivers seeking regional and national opportunities. This position offers a compensation structure of 60 cents per mile plus an additional 5 cents per mile differential pay for routes running in the Midwest and Northeast states. Drivers can expect consistent work involving no-touch freight, which minimizes manual handling of goods, allowing focus on driving and timely deliveries.

In this role, drivers will predominantly handle bulk food grade hauling, transporting essential goods that demand careful attention to safety and quality standards. The work schedule follows a 2-week rotation, providing a balance between work life and personal time. Drivers manage their time effectively with a 60/40 drop and hook system, facilitating efficient loading and unloading processes. Mileage averages between 3,500 to 4,500 miles per week, with driving schedules fully compliant with Department of Transportation Hours of Service regulations, ensuring driver safety and legal adherence.

Red Stag ensures drivers are fairly compensated for unexpected events with additional pay for breakdowns, layovers, in-field detention, and resets. Importantly, drivers are guaranteed a minimum bi-weekly pay of $2,000, offering financial security regardless of mileage fluctuations. The network of lanes includes routes such as Canyon, TX to Dallas, TX; Sulphur Springs, TX to Memphis, TN; and New Ulm, MN to Sulphur Springs, TX, covering diverse geographic locations and giving drivers opportunities to become familiar with critical freight corridors.
