Job Description

Bulkley Trucking is a reputable and established trucking company that has been operating since 1987, known for its core values of respect, honesty, and delivering good miles. As a trusted name in the transportation industry, Bulkley Trucking prides itself on maintaining a strong commitment to its drivers and clients alike, ensuring reliable and efficient freight solutions across a variety of routes. The company fosters a positive work environment with a focus on driver appreciation, quality equipment, and competitive compensation packages that reflect the hard work and dedication of its team members. This commitment to excellence is why Bulkley Trucking enjoys a solid reputation among both its workforce and the industry as a whole.

We are currently seeking dedicated CDL-A Company Solo and Team Over-The-Road (OTR) Truck Drivers to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for professional drivers who want to work with a company that values their contributions and offers substantial financial and lifestyle benefits. Drivers can expect competitive pay packages ranging from $70,000 to $85,000 plus for solo drivers, and from $78,000 to $90,000 plus for team drivers. Additionally, there is a $5,000 sign-on bonus, a guaranteed weekly minimum pay of $1,250, and a fuel bonus that can add up to $0.05 per mile on top of base pay. Solo drivers receive base pay from $0.46 to $0.52 per mile, while team drivers are paid $0.57 to $0.67 per mile. Drivers are also paid a per diem rate and receive paid orientation.

The position offers excellent home time schedules with either a 34 or 48-hour reset, ensuring drivers maintain a healthy work-life balance. The freight is no-touch, meaning drivers are not required to load or unload cargo, allowing them to focus strictly on driving. Along with meaningful time at home, drivers benefit from team events such as potlucks, a rider and pet program, and a celebrated driver appreciation week. Benefits extend to covered health, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, paid time off, and a matching 401(k) plan up to 3 percent, helping drivers secure their financial future while staying healthy and supported on the road.

Drivers will operate new automatic Volvo trucks equipped with advanced features like Best Pass, DriverWise safety systems, and XM radio for an enjoyable and safe driving experience. Bulkley Trucking emphasizes modern equipment and continuous safety training to optimize performance and comfort.

This role requires a Class A Commercial Driver's License with at least one year of relevant driving experience, and candidates must be 21 years or older. For drivers with 6 to 12 months of experience, a temporary team driving assignment is required before transitioning to solo runs. All applicants must be willing to complete a drug screening involving both urinalysis and hair follicle testing to uphold our company’s standards of safety and compliance. Joining Bulkley Trucking means being part of a team that values your professionalism and provides competitive incentives and perks that reward your commitment and hard work.
