Known for maintaining high standards in operations and personnel management, the company fosters a professional and engaging work environment that values teamwork and accountability. The role is full-time and involves regular interaction with customers, emphasizing the importance of excellent communication and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced setting.

The role of the driver is pivotal in the company's delivery operations. Drivers are entrusted with the responsibility of managing daily routes that include frequent stops for loading and unloading packages. The position requires working away from the main operating company location by positioning drivers closer to the customer marketplace. This strategic placement improves delivery efficiency and responsiveness to customer needs.

Drivers will operate under a cross-dock model, where they pick orders from trucks that were delivered the night before, then refuel by returning empty trucks to assigned lots upon route completion. In addition to driving, candidates must be physically capable of loading and unloading products, often requiring the use of hand trucks and manual handling of packages weighing up to 100 pounds. This customer-facing role demands professionalism in handling deliveries, verifying items, obtaining customer signatures, communicating discrepancies, and resolving customer complaints promptly and courteously.

Safety is paramount in this position, with drivers expected to conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections in line with Department of Transportation regulations and company policies. They must also maintain the truck’s condition to ensure it is route-ready every day, demonstrating a high level of responsibility and attention to detail. On occasion, drivers may assist with additional warehouse duties such as palletizing and loading trucks under manager supervision.

To succeed, drivers must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License - Class B is mandatory while Class A is preferred. Candidates should have at least one year of route delivery or straight truck driving experience, with the ability to read and communicate effectively in English to ensure clear understanding of traffic signs and safe vehicle operation. The job also requires resilience to work in variable weather conditions and adapt to physical demands including lifting, bending, and maneuvering in confined spaces.

Overall, this role is suited for individuals who are committed to delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining safety standards, and contributing to the operational excellence of a top-tier logistics company. It offers a stable employment opportunity in a dynamic industry, with the potential for growth and professional development within the transportation sector.
