Job Requirements
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver License
- Must be able to lift, push or move products weighing up to 100 pounds
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to converse in English and comprehend highway traffic signs
- Commitment to safety and adherence to all transportation laws and company policies
- Reliable transportation to and from the work site for assigned shifts
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver License with a clean driving record
- Ability to read, speak, and understand English sufficiently to communicate with the public and comprehend traffic signs
- Effective interpersonal and customer service skills
- Physical ability to lift and move products weighing 40 to 60 pounds repeatedly
- Experience with hand carts or hand trucks preferred
- Food and beverage industry experience preferred
- At least one year of customer delivery experience preferred
- Consistent work history of at least two years preferred
Job Duties
- Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer on assigned delivery routes
- Manually unload and deliver various products including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, and supplies
- Build positive relationships with customers through friendly and professional service
- Follow all federal, state, and local transportation regulations and company safety policies
- Maintain accurate delivery records and complete paperwork as required
- Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure mechanical soundness
- Manage overall route schedule to ensure timely deliveries and customer satisfaction
