Job Requirements
- be at least 21 years of age
- possess a valid Class A CDL license
- pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- ability to read, speak, and understand English
- ability to lift, push, and move freight weighing 40-60 pounds on average and up to 100 pounds repeatedly
- flexible to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
- dependable and safety-conscious
- capable of building positive customer relationships
Job Qualifications
- valid Class A Commercial Driver License
- clean driving record
- ability to read, speak, and understand English sufficiently for communication and recordkeeping
- minimum age of 21 years
- customer delivery experience preferred
- hand cart/hand truck experience preferred
- food and beverage industry experience preferred
- consistent work history preferred
Job Duties
- safely operate a tractor-trailer on assigned delivery routes
- manually unload and deliver various food products including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, and supplies
- build and maintain positive relationships with customers by understanding their needs and expectations
- follow all safety protocols and company policies during deliveries
- complete necessary delivery paperwork and reports accurately
- handle freight that may weigh between 40 to 100 pounds repetitively
- work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required to meet business needs
